After a business experience between the late 80s and the early 90s, from 1997 to 2006 he undertook a significant professional activity in the hotel sector as technical director of Starwood Costa Smeralda, personally taking care of the renovation of the accommodation facilities managed by the company in Costa Smeralda, of which he is a profound connoisseur. During the G8 in La Maddalena, Cucciari provided his consultancy on behalf of Mita Resort for the redevelopment works of the former arsenal where he dealt with the conversion into a hotel.
